“Auszeit am Eifelstieg is the perfect location if you want to discover the beautiful nature of the Vulkaneifel. I stayed here for 9 days between Christmas 2019 and Dreikoninge 2020. Even in winter time, the Vulkaneifel is a beautiful place for hiking and biking. When I arrived Lukas upgraded my single room to a small apartment in the basement. Everything I needed was there: a good bed, warm comfortable shower and a kitchen with fridge and micro-wave. The upgrade was a pleasant surprise. Auszeit does not offer lunch or dinner but it's easy to find delicious meals in the two restaurants closeby. Because of my kitchen, I had only dinner in Berghof and it was a great experience. You can buy your own food in nearby Daun. Auszeit does offer a delicious breakfast with a plenty of different food and drinks to choose from. The room is cleaned everyday and the team did even my own washing up!The team respects your privacy but if you have a question they give plenty of information. Me and Auszeit was a perfect fit. The location is perfect to discover the Vulkaneifel, especially if you bring your own bike. Three dedicated bikingpaths (Kosmosradweg, Mosel radweg and Mineral Quelle radweg) in different directions bring you to a variety of starting points for wonderful hikes. I preferred the hikes around Manderscheid and Meerfeld. If you are looking for a reasonable priced accommodation in the Vulkaneifel, doubt no more. Highly recommended. The only minus could be the slower internet. I had problems to stream Belgian TV but only for one night, probably when all guests where on the net. The reason could also be the weaker signal in the appartement in the basement. Overall it did not disturb me to much.”

“Wir waren im Januar 26 5 Tage in der Auszeit Daun,aber etwas außerhalb gelegen in Gemünden. Der Empfang war herzlich und Nett. Es wurde alles in Ruhe und genau erklärt. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und geräumig. Waschecke war separat vom Duschbereich getrennt. Alles war neuwertig renoviert. Balkon mit Blick in den Garten. Wir hatten ein Erdgeschosszimmer. Das Einzige, was etwas für uns störend gewesen ist, waren die Matratzen und Kopfkissen. Diese waren für uns etwas zu unbequem, hier sollte in naher Zukunft über ein neuen Austausch nachgedacht werden. Alles im allem ist das Zimmer Top. TV über Sat vorhanden. Frühstück 8h bis 10h, es wurde auch gefragt ,wenn man erst halb neun oder so möchte, kein Problem. Zumindest bei uns, da wir die einzigen Langzeit Mieter waren zu dem Zeitpunkt. Frühstück für 2 war ausreichend vorhanden, es fehlte am nichts. Kaffee/Milch leer? Kein Problem, wurde immer nachgefragt und nach gereicht. Ei? Ja ! Gekocht ? oder Spiegeleier? Ja mit Speck? Klar . Alles kein Problem. WLAN frei. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt. Ca 1km Fußweg kann man den Maareglück Rundweg gehen, dieser ist zum Einstieg sehr zu empfehlen. 15km und nie langweilig. Danke an Lukas für den schönen Aufenthalt.”

“Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft am Eifelsteig für einen Kurztrip oder auch für ein paar Tage mehr. Die Lage ist gut - fenab vom Trubel, aber nicht abgeschieden. Das Frühstück ist mit Liebe gemacht und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und gemütlich. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr zu empfehlen!”
